It is so special to see all of you here today. Some of you traveled from the other side of the world — from Greece, France, Denmark — and your presence means everything.

We speak many different languages and come from many different places, yet here we all are together. Some things are simply too important to lose in translation.

I first met Stavros six years ago at a beach party in Crete — no plan, the widest smile I'd ever seen. He borrowed my lighter and said: "I think tonight is going to be a good night."

Julie came into the picture three years later at a summer party here in Amsterdam. Stavros called me the next morning: "I think I just met the person I'm going to marry."

What I have watched happen between these two people has been one of the most beautiful things I have ever been allowed to witness. They built something patient and full of laughter.

Our story

We know how difficult it is to organise
a multilingual wedding.

We're Arnoud & Gaia. When we planned our wedding in Amsterdam, our guests spoke Dutch, English, French, and Italian — people who loved us deeply but had never shared a room before. We wanted every single one of them to feel the same thing at the same moment.

We couldn't find anything that felt right. Apps were too clunky, screens too obtrusive, live transcription too risky for something this important. So we built our own solution — a simple, spoiler-free way for every guest to follow along in their own language, in real time.

What moved us most wasn't just the laughter landing at the same time across four languages. It was the family members who would normally never have taken the stage — who suddenly felt brave enough to stand up and tell their story, knowing everyone in the room would understand them.

Afterwards, people kept asking how we'd done it. That's when we decided to offer the same experience to other couples.
